We have a current opportunity for a Interim Project Manager - Electrical on a contract basis. The position will be based in Berkshire. The role will support:
Job Purpose
As a P3O Project Manager (Electrical) within the Estates Maintenance Projects Team, the post holder will support the Head of Projects (P3O Portfolio Manager) via the Senior Projects Manager (P3O Programme Manager) in managing and delivering construction related projects within the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT) Estate. Projects will typically be from the in year Capital Works Plan, project specific bids for funding, charity donation and specific minor capital projects.
They will have responsibility, at any one time, for the autonomous professional management and delivery of numerous projects of varying size and complexity. This will include advising and liaising with stakeholders, clinical management teams and otherwise, at all levels across the Trust. The post holder will be expected to be dealing on a day-to-day basis with appointed Quantity Surveyors / Cost Engineers, Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and Building Fabric Consultants, Structural and Civil Engineers, Principal Contractors, Sub Contractors, and Specialist Contractors.
Job Summary
9 To ensure the development, maintenance and dissemination of the highest professional standards of construction practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes. Where necessary (i.e. desirable to the Job Description) be prepared to commit to industry specific higher/further education and associated professional development, as supported by the RBFT.
