    Part-Time Advocacy Support Worker

    Location: Enfield

    Salary: £27,000 pro rata

    An opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Advocacy Support Worker to join a dynamic team in Enfield, dedicated to providing crucial support to individuals impacted by domestic violence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Offer compassionate and non-judgmental support to those experiencing domestic violence.
    • Help clients navigate their rights and available resources.
    • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive client support.
    • Advocate for clients within legal, healthcare, and social service systems.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of advocacy programs.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Previous experience in advocacy or support roles, preferably within the domestic violence sector.
    • Understanding of the dynamics and impact of domestic violence.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Knowledge of local resources related to domestic violence.
    • Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to empowering survivors.

    Working Hours:

    This is a part-time position ensuring effective coverage during operational times.

    Salary:

    £27,000 per annum pro rata.
