Job Opportunity: Temporary Accommodation Lead Worker

Position: Lead Worker

Pay: £15.50 per hour holiday pay = £17.93 per hour or £19.00 via umbrella company

Hours: 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

2 positions available

Assignment Length: 2-3 months with potential extension

Location: Lambeth, with travel to various temporary accommodations

To Apply for this position, you must possess an enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or one that is on the update service

Our client is looking for a Lead worker to join their Lambeth based Temporary Accommodation Support Service. We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Lead Worker on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities & details:

• Understanding of Homelessness and Housing
• Suitable for applicants with a solid understanding of homelessness and housing.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation is beneficial.

Independent Work:

• Caseloads may be substantial; however, support planning is not required.
• Demonstrated ability and trustworthiness to work independently.
• Digital Literacy:
• IT literacy is essential, with proficiency in modern office applications.
• Competence in uploading documents to drives, using shared spreadsheets, and working in a fully digital environment.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Outlook calendar of tasks.

System Proficiency:

• Knowledge of Salesforce (Inform) is preferred.
• Previous agency experience with Thames Reach is advantageous.
• Client Interaction:
• Willingness to undertake travel to visit clients in temporary accommodation.
• Submission of travel expenses via the agency system.
• Lone Working:
• Must be comfortable working independently with clients.
• Utilize lone-working devices and communicate whereabouts via the digital duty system.
• Casework and Documentation:
• Ability to casework complex cases.
• Document actions accurately and comprehensively.
