Senior Infrastructure Migration Engineer
I am currently working with an organisation who are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Migration Engineer to lead technical delivery as part of their Domain Modernisation Project. You will be responsible for consolidating legacy environments onto a new Active Directory domain.
Core Responsibilities:
- Leading application and system migration, decommissioning, and consolidation
- Conducting application and infrastructure audits and assessments
- Contributing to data migration planning
- Creating and updating technical documentation
- Performing testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Planning and executing AD migrations and roll-outs
- Managing change management processes
- Ensuring security, compliance, and performance standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- Deep AD, Windows 10, and application migration experience
- Expertise with AD, Group Policy, SQL migrations
- Analytical troubleshooting abilities
- Windows Server, VMware, and PowerShell proficiency
- Experience with ITIL and ServiceNow
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
Desirable:
- Windows 11, Linux, Intune/Autopilot knowledge
- AD migration tools exposure
This is a 15-month contract, paying £400 per day. A hybrid role of 2 days per week based in their offices in central London.
