    Are you a Chief Accountant looking for work in North West London?



    Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in North West London is looking to recruit a Chief Accountant to manage the closure of Accounts team. This is a temporary position covering secondment.

    As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring the accounts and related notes are produced in line with the statutory deadline
    • Acting as the main liaison point between the council and its external auditors
    • Managing 3 Finance Managers who look after capital accounting and the closedown timetable
    • Acting as the interface between the closing team, the rest of finance and other council departments.
