Are you a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker looking for work in North London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in North London is looking to recruit a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker, you will be responsible for conducting housing needs reviews, assessing eligibility for housing services, and providing support to individuals and families facing housing challenges.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Conduct thorough assessments of housing needs and eligibility for housing services, including homelessness assessments, housing register applications, and allocations reviews.
• Utilise your expertise in Housing Revenue Account (HRA) to ensure compliance with HRA regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the housing needs review process.
• Manage a caseload of housing needs reviews, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assessments, decisions, and outcomes. Maintain detailed case records and documentation in accordance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
• Provide information, advice, and guidance to individuals and families facing housing challenges, including homelessness, overcrowding, and housing insecurity. Signpost clients to relevant support services and resources to address their housing needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, local authorities, housing associations, and support agencies to coordinate housing services and support for clients. Liaise with external stakeholders to access additional resources and support for clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of housing needs reviews, assessments, and outcomes. Prepare reports and analysis on caseload management, service delivery outcomes, and performance indicators to inform decision-making and service improvements.
