Senior Contracts Manager

Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager

Salary: £60,000 - £63,000

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Hours: 37

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage high-value contracts totalling over £100m, ensuring quality delivery in line with contractual terms.
- Lead contracting and tendering activities for the unique high-stakes test of competence.
- Ensure adequate test capacity to meet workforce demand and collaborate with UK employers.
- Oversee the introduction of new test content, maintaining its relevance and fairness.
- Ensure the test of competence remains free from bias, promoting diversity in registration.
- Manage multiple suppliers, balancing service quality, cost, and accessibility.
- Become the subject matter authority on the test of competence for internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering programs in a regulatory environment across policy work, systems development, and business operations.
- Lead, coach, and support a small team to maximise their potential and performance.
- Effectively manage contracts with development, delivery, and quality assurance partners.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, the organisations policies, and principles of risk management.
- Uphold the organisations values (fair, kind, ambitious, and collaborative) in all actions.

- Strong contract management experience, managing suppliers against contractual terms.
- Management and leadership experience in a high-paced, complex environment.
- Building a collaborative culture across diverse teams.
- Resilient and self-confident to drive through change.
- Willingness to challenge constructively and excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of professional regulation.
