Are you a Temporary Accommodation Officer looking for work in South London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in South London is looking to recruit a Temporary Accommodation Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you will be responsible for managing temporary accommodation placements, supporting residents, and ensuring the provision of safe and suitable housing options.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Manage a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties, including liaising with landlords, managing tenancies, and ensuring compliance with housing standards and regulations.
• Coordinate temporary accommodation placements for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, assessing needs, preferences, and eligibility criteria to identify suitable housing options.
• Provide support, advice, and guidance to residents in temporary accommodation, including assistance with accessing benefits, support services, and community resources.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure that temporary accommodation properties meet health and safety standards and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with local authorities, housing associations, support agencies, and community organizations to deliver holistic support services to residents in temporary accommodation.
• Maintain accurate records of temporary accommodation placements, resident support interventions, and property management activities. Prepare reports and analysis on placement outcomes, performance indicators, and service delivery effectiveness.
