Are you a Housing Advisor looking for work in East London?
Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in East London is looking to recruit a Housing Advisor to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.
As a Housing Advisor, you will be providing expert advice and support to tenants and landlords navigating the eviction process.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to tenants and landlords on their rights and obligations under housing law, including Section 21 and Section 8 notices.
- Advise landlords on the correct procedures for serving eviction notices and assist in resolving disputes with tenants in a fair and legal manner.
- Assist tenants facing eviction proceedings by explaining their legal rights, advising on available options, and providing support in negotiating with landlords.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of housing situations, identify potential risks, and develop tailored action plans to prevent homelessness and housing instability.
- Collaborate with partner agencies, legal advisors, and housing authorities to facilitate access to support services and resources for tenants and landlords.
- Keep abreast of changes in housing legislation and policies, attend relevant training and development opportunities, and share knowledge with colleagues.
