Morgan Hunt are currently working with a well-established Charity Organisation in their search for a temporary Governance Manager to ensure that the Organisation complies with its regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for managing the Organisation's data governance activities as required and you will be supporting the task and responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer. You will also be co-ordinating the Organisation's responses to statutory information requests ensuring compliance with GDPR legislation.
In addition, you will be providing support to staff at all levels on Corporate Governance queries and to resolve any complex issues in consultancy with the Data Protection Officer.
This role would be perfect for an experienced Senior Governance professional, ideally with experience in the Public Sector (ideally within a charity or regulation organisation). You will have a strong background in Governance and GDPR and also excellent communication and organisational skills.
This is a part-time FTC position, due to last 12 months and you would be required to attend the Brixton Office once a week.
Job Title: Governance Manager
Location: Hybrid Working (Brixton office once a week)
Annual Salary £51,000 full-time salary (salary will be pro-rata)
Job Type: FTC (12 months, potential extension)
Hours: Part-time (21 hours, 3 days per week)
