£192.30 - £237 per day
Work from Home, Hybrid working

Morgan Hunt are recruiting for a HR Manager for a London based Charity on a temporary to permanent basis. This position will be a hybrid role (2/3 days working from home) paying £192 - £237 per day. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role will be the highest position in HR for the organisation and a great role to really make your own!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a full generalist experienced HR Manager to join a brilliant charity on a temporary basis initially, to lead the HR offering. This role will ideally suit someone who has worked in a stand alone role or small team previously. Ideally you will have a strong understanding about working within the not-for-profit sector and will be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills into a longer term permanent role. The Charity has been providing care for 80 years and the principles from the services provided mirror the culture and principles of the supporting organisation too.

As a HR Manager you will:

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to line management with employee relations

  • Development of HR initiatives and help drive their implementation across the business

  • Continue to improve systems and procedures to aid the growth of the business

  • Be confident in coaching, supporting and leading managers to develop their people management skills

  • Develop and execute HR strategies in compliance with employment legislation and best practices

  • Establish and deliver L&D initiatives to support employee progression

  • Ensure all people lifecycle administration tasks, policies and procedures are mindful and implemented consistently

  • Reviewing the Employee Handbook, writing up-to-date policies and procedures in line with recent Employment law updates

  • Managing HR projects

  • Advise on the employee lifecycle, providing advice and guidance on recruitment activities, supporting on onboarding and inductions

As a HR Manager for this role you will need:

  • Hands on generalist HR experience

  • Strong Employment Law knowledge

  • Experience working within an HR function in a stand-alone role or part of a wider HR team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ideally have experience of the charity sector/public sector
