Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulatory Body in their search for an interim Senior Regulatory Lawyer to provide legal support, advice and leadership to the authorisations team.
You will be responsible for providing legal advice, support and guidance to a team of decision-makers, through utilisation of a complex legal framework and ensuring decisions made are compliant with relevant regulations and guidance.
You will focus on identifying and driving forward change and improvement relating to decision-making and ways of working. This will involve analysing work streams, while considering risk, to identify solutions and improvements to policies, processes and guidance.
The successful applicant will be a Qualified Lawyer, with significant experience providing both legal support and operational management, across the Professional Regulation or Membership Sectors.
You will have experience leading a casework function with strong knowledge of regulation, public law, statutory appeals, and judicial reviews. You will also have the ability to identify and drive forward change and improvement relating to decision making and way of working.
This role is a 6-month contract (open to secondment options) with the potential for permanent options and/or extension.
Job Title: Senior Regulatory Lawyer
Location: Hybrid (4 days per month in the London Office)
Annual Salary: £70,000 - £75,000
Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months, potential extension)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hour week)
