Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with this fantastic client, a leading player in the UK Architectural market, operating across over 10 different market sectors.

We are currently working with this client due to a growing portfolio of work, most notably within their Defence Sector. They are seeking a professional who will work with other members of their team to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of the architectural projects.

The Role

• Offers excellent career progression and we are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, driven and willing to contribute to the long term success and development of the architectural team.
• Responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues.
• Develop designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements.
• Coordinates design intent with other disciplines.
• Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards.
• Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contractor to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls.

Qualifications/Experience

• ARB registered Architect.
• Experience in the Defence sector is preferred.
• Revit experience is essential.
• Experience in designing and running your own jobs.
• A strong team player willing to participate in business growth by maximising opportunities and being willing and able to support junior members.
• Knowledge of English Building regulations is essential.
• You must be able to obtain security clearance.
