Lead Solutions Architect - Software

Morgan Hunt seeks an accomplished Lead Solutions Architect - Software to provide invaluable support during a dynamic and demanding period for Glasgow, London or Cardiff.

We are in search of an ideal candidate who possesses the following skills:

• Lead a team of Architects with overarching responsibility for shaping the Architecture of the Delivery and Schemes applications.
• Design technical services or intricately plan system integration, selecting the requisite platforms and technologies to meet project requirements and user needs.
• Design solutions, including data storage and security, in alignment with clients reference architecture.
• Collaborate and foster networks with colleagues in infrastructure, security, data, and operations.
• Spearhead the implementation of a Micro-service Shared Service Architecture.
• Develop and maintain clear, concise architecture documentation and designs.
• Provide Solution Architecture expertise to Technical Leads and Developers, facilitating the design and implementation of the Technical Architecture and solution.
• Construct and sustain technical roadmaps, anticipating future opportunities or challenges and ensuring development teams' decisions align with the overarching strategy.
• Promote communication across multiple development teams, identifying strategic requirements and dependencies.
• Contribute actively to the Technical Design Authority.
• Foster a positive technical culture by applying agile methods to development and executing quality assurance practices.
• Advise product managers on the estimated effort and technical implications of current user stories, as well as those in the backlog.
• Play a pivotal role in enabling the reuse of patterns, tools, and components across the entire government service landscape.

Essential Criteria:

• (Lead criteria) Demonstrate robust software development and application architecture experience, testing, and proficiency in at least one programming language.
• (Lead criteria) Exhibit expert-level technical knowledge for designing, implementing, and supporting technology architecture across a broad range of Microsoft technologies.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Extensive proficiency with cloud technology architectures, predominantly within Azure.
• Understanding of influencing senior management and effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Criteria:

• Showcase a robust track record of applying IT security to technology architecture and software life-cycles.
• Possess experience working with CRM/XRM software, such as Salesforce, highlighting your adaptability and versatility.
