Senior Business Analyst

£400 - £440 per day

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is required to provide structured Business Analysis capability to increase the efficiency of the dealing over whole product as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team.

This will be based within the Product and Business Analysis department. The vision of the LR domain is to collaborate with teams across registration to develop, digitise and improve business operations for the benefit of our internal and external customers. The intent is to transition elements of the Land Register registration process away from reliance on the LRS, and to support registration teams with new ways of processing applications

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain an audit trail of decisions, assumptions and outstanding questions
  • Assist in the identification, evaluation and tracking of project benefits for the outcomes and objectives stated.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Product Management, Service Design and Registration to inform iterations of the domain roadmap
  • Support the development teams' Product and Agile leads in both their tactical and strategic work to help ensure the product delivery teams deliver solutions that work for customers and the organisation
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including epics, user stories and acceptance test criteria.

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of Scottish land registration processes
  • Ability to present and converse on land registration concepts with domain experts.
  • A collaborative mindset seeking advice and input from a wide array of stakeholders across the customer and internal ecosystem.
  • A working knowledge of Agile approaches in the design and delivery of digital services
  • Ability to support the decision-making process through the effective synthesis of information from a wide array of sources.

Role Details

  • 3-month contract-possibility of extension
  • Hybrid Working approach- Glasgow or Edinburgh based.

  • £400-£440 per day
  • Outside IR35
