Senior Solutions Architect- Software

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect- Software on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Glasgow.

We are in search of an ideal candidate who possesses the following skills

• Leveraging your background in software development, you'll bring expertise in crafting .NET applications while also conceptualising holistic solutions. Your visionary outlook on government services and proficiency in GDS assessments will enable effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enhancing the team's efforts to deliver cutting-edge and highly efficient digital solutions.
• Acting as a representative for the Architecture team to ensure precise program definitions that can be seamlessly integrated into architectural planning.
• Exercising oversight and governance over crucial Architectural deliverables across all project stages, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Aligning with IT and Business strategies through comprehensive architecture programs spanning short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
• Championing efficiency enhancements throughout project lifecycles while optimising technological resources to their fullest potential.
• Providing expert technical guidance and leadership in architectural matters.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting technology architecture, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. (Primary requirement)
• Extensive hands-on experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including proficient management of architectural and developmental phases. (Primary requirement)
• Recent track record in cloud technology architectures, with a focus on Azure.
• Proficient in software development methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM.

Desirable Criteria

• Proven track record in implementing IT security measures within technology architecture and software lifecycles. Familiarity with CRM/XRM software, including platforms like Salesforce.
