Job

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Architectural Technologist to join their Glasgow office. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in their projects, working closely with their design teams to bring architectural concepts to life.

Projects will mainly be housing, education, commercial and distilleries. Your expertise in building technology, construction methods, and CAD software will be essential in producing detailed design and construction drawings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects and designers to develop and refine project designs.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Perform site surveys and assessments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and building codes.
  • Ensure designs comply with sustainability and accessibility standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project budgets and timelines.
  • Offer technical expertise during construction phases.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in architectural technology, preferably within an architectural firm.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to sustainable design practices.
