In this Senior Quantity Surveying job role based in Angus, you will have an excellent opportunity to join a family-run main contractor who have grown organically and is looking to expand their team.

They have served the public and private sectors for more than a century. This family-run construction company was founded in the 1800s as a traditional slating and plastering business. To date, they are heavily involved in refurbishment works, new builds, industrial units, Housing, and regeneration.
Healthcare, Sports & Leisure, Commercial and Education. The company is based locally and has an on-site joinery workshop that produces doors and timber kits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in this company, your job will involve financial reports, cost value reporting, payments internally and externally. You will be required to prepare extension of time claims where applicable, contra charges, payment notifications, notification of delay's, tender cost analysis, dayworks, forecasting, valuations, final accounts negotiating and measuring.

Your new job will be based in Angus.

Skills & Experience

You will come from an academic background with a Degree in Quantity Surveying. You will have a practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking. You will have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving with a strong numeracy and financial management skill set. You will have the ability to learn sophisticated design and costing IT Packages and the ability to write clear and precise reports. You will work well in a team and have good communication skills. A good knowledge of construction and building technology, processes, materials, and business would be an advantage.

Benefits
