As the construction Site Manager, your role will involve overseeing and managing a new build construction project. Key responsibilities

Your role would involve overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and organising to execution and completion. Supervising all site personnel and make day-to-day decisions relating to site operations.

Duties will include:

Site Supervision: Overseeing all on-site activities, including coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of the project.

Team Management: Managing the construction team, including subcontractors and labourers. Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.

Quality Control: Ensuring that work is carried out to the required standards and specifications. Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from the project plan.

Communication and Documentation: Maintaining effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and the project team. Keeping records of project progress, preparing reports, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, permits, and regulations throughout the project. Obtaining necessary approvals and permits as required.

Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the project, such as unexpected site conditions, design changes, or logistical issues.

Client Satisfaction: Regularly communicating with the client to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide progress updates. Striving to achieve high levels of client satisfaction by delivering quality work within the agreed-upon time and budget.

Skills & experience

knowledge and experience of managing new build projects would be an advantage.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, persuade, guide, and motivate others.

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Computer literacy, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
