In this Site Managers opportunity based in the Tayside area; you will have an excellent opportunity to join a main contractor who is involved in multimillion commercial developments in the Tayside area.

Key responsibilities

Supervising projects from inception to completion, you'll exemplify commitment to health & safety, and ensure quality and best practices. As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team as appropriate
  • Effectively managing any project delays
  • Ensuring dimensional controls are in place from the outset and are utilised accordingly.
  • Completing daily site diaries.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor site logistics.
  • The coordination and control of the project, including staff, labour and subcontractors, from the construction phase through to completion and handover to the client.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control and quality management policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with the health & safety management system.
  • Effectively communicating with the design team to ensure the timely release of design information.
  • Build and maintain good relations with stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

As a Site Manager, you'll have either a construction-related degree or be from a trade background with construction management and leadership experience, hold a valid CSCS card, be SMSTS qualified, and be competent in health and safety practice with good first aid knowledge.
