The Organisation

In this Trainee Estimators job role based in Dundee, you will have an excellent opportunity to join a company who has built a solid reputation over the last twenty-five years. They are a bespoke joinery and interior fit out specialist offering a high calibre fit out service.

This reputable business specialises in the fit-out of a wide range of facilities, most of which are found in the commercial sector. Its clientele includes universities and colleges as well as five-star hospitality venues.

This opportunity offers the chance to gain a wealth of training from experienced professionals as well as external qualifications whilst progressing your career into a more senior position.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for working on tenders alongside senior staff, interpreting and pricing drawings, using estimating and material takeoff software, and obtaining current costs from our supply chain before assisting in submitting tenders. When a tender is secured, you will assist in handing it over to our fit-out team to project manage.

Your new job will be based in Dundee.

Skills & Experience

This role is suitable for a candidate with an interest in Estimating with either a Commercial or Construction background, the candidate may also be a graduate with a relevant construction qualification.
