Data Migration Business Analyst

Morgan Hunt is collaborating with a prestigious UK government organsation in search of a seasoned Business Analyst to integrate into their esteemed Data Solutions team, pivotal in their ambitious endeavours to revamp and modernise their data platform.

Your role will be paramount in spearheading the meticulous analysis of business requirements and user needs, thereby driving forward the data platform modernisation initiative. You will draw upon your expertise to document existing business processes and spearhead process redesign efforts. Additionally, your proficiency in navigating data projects, dissecting intricate data flows, and adeptly documenting them will be instrumental. Notably, your excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with finely honed stakeholder management abilities will further elevate your impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to craft comprehensive business requirements for the forthcoming data platform upgrade.
• Scrutinize and refine requirements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and clarity in execution.
• Take the lead in orchestrating workshops aimed at identifying and prioritizing business requirements to seamlessly integrate into the new data platform.
• Methodically document current data flows and process maps, thereby facilitating ongoing enhancements to data quality and insights.
• Spearhead the creation of a comprehensive data catalogue, a cornerstone for organizational data management.
• Generate exhaustive documentation to underpin both the existing and new solutions, while actively contributing to testing protocols and offering guidance where necessary.
• Ensure that all new products and solutions not only meet but exceed business requirements while remaining steadfastly aligned with the organization's overarching strategy.

• Fully Remote, with offices in London & Birmingham

• Experience of data migration
• Experience of data platform
