Job description
Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer proficient with VMware Horizon for a 3 month contract with our public sector.
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 3 months
Rate: £300-400 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
The role holder will be a skilled professional with expertise in VMware Horizon VDI projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a VDI project involving 1500 licenses.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the successful delivery of the project.
- Utilize your expertise in VMware Horizon to optimize VDI performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VDI infrastructure.
- Desktop Visualisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in VDI projects, with a focus on VMware Horizon technologies.
- Strong understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure and related technologies.
- Previous experience with large-scale VDI deployments (1500 licenses).
