Company

An extremely successful premium brand in the industry, operating as an international, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. This provides the chance to work on innovative and exciting medium-large scale developments across a variety of private and public sector buildings, often partnered with top tier architects and clients. Role

  • Develop specifications, design drawings, calculations, and any other contract documents through the RIBA work stages.
  • Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
  • Input to pre-qualification and selection of contractors, respond to tender queries, comment and review tender returns.
  • Identify and effectively meet the requirements and expectations of clients.
  • Perform complex tasks with minimal direction and/or supervision.
  • Communicate with other members of the multi discipline design team to ensure design delivery is co-ordinated.
  • Attend site surveys and client concurrence meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory Authorities and obtain approvals as necessary.

Qualifications / Experience

  • HND/Degree or equivalent certified Electrical Engineer.
  • Use knowledge of electrical building services to educate designs (HV/LV Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Lighting Control, Fire Alarms, Communication Systems, Lightning Protection, Security and Access Control etc.)
  • 5-10 years work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business.
  • Full UK driving licence
