About you

We are seeking a dedicated Curriculum Team Leader - Construction to support the Head of Department in managing and developing our curriculum, while inspiring staff and students to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities of the Curriculum Team Leader - Construction
* Providing day-to-day support to curriculum teams within the department, ensuring smooth operation and collaboration.
* Assisting in timetabling of courses with a student-centred approach, optimising learning opportunities.
* Chairing course team meetings and documenting meeting minutes, fostering communication and accountability within the department.
* Developing and implementing a teaching support cover rota, ensuring adequate coverage and support staff.
* Monitoring student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, taking action to uphold college standards and support student success.

Essential criteria
* Hold a Level 5 or above teaching qualification such as DET, DTLLS, or Cert Ed / PGCE.
* Extensive relevant experience working in an education/training provider.
* Evidence of professional updating & development.
* Experience of leading a team or supervising individuals.
* Flexible, responsive, and ability to work and adapt to change.
