In this Lecturer Mechanical Engineering you will join our further education client.
Key responsibilities
In this Lecturer Mechanical Engineering your responsibilities will include:
Teach manual milling/turning/grinding and also be willing to work across the engineering department when needed.
- Energetic, entrepreneurial, and experienced in machining, using both lathes and Mills and CNC machines.
- Provide lecturer and workshop instruction in the completion for Machine Tool Technology programs as well as any additional certificate programs that are developed, and will collaborate with machine tool and other tech faculty on curriculum development, programming, and maintenance of equipment.
- Actively work with industry to ensure that students are prepared with appropriate machining skills and knowledge and will support collaborations.
Skills & experience
.Relevant experience in milling and turning
.Capable of teaching a variety of machine tooling related classes
.Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in teaching Lathes and Mills
Desirable knowledge of CAD and CNC machining
