Job Title: Receptionist
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Coventry
Industry: Social Care - Homelessness
*You must have an Enhanced Child and Adult cleared DBS issued in the last 12 months or on the update service to start*
The organisation
In this Receptionist opportunity in Coventry, you will join a charity helping young people, between the ages of 16-25, gain access to temporary accommodation as a result of being homeless The role be the first point of contact into a very busy Youth Hub and deal with any queries. .
Key responsibilities
In this Receptionist job, your responsibilities will include:
- Handle a high level of inbound and outbound calls to the services 'youth line'
- Dealing with general queries to signposting to the relevant department or booking appointments
- Handling any objections and deescalating situations that may arise - writing up accident reports
- Keep accurate records and maintain a filing system - maintaining a clean and tidy reception area
- Assisting a team of IAG workers when needed with assessments or applications
Skills & experience of a Receptionist
- Proven track record of working In a receptionist / customer service roles
- Holds an enhanced DBS child and adult cleared - Issued In the last 12 months or on the update service
- Available to start asap
- Flexible to work over evenings / weekends when required
