HR Operations Manager - Birmingham

We have a current Interim to Permanent opportunity for a HR Operations Manager based in Birmingham, B6. Salary £23.50p/h PAYE - c.£49,000 FTE, full time, hybrid working 2days a week. Immediate start.

HR Operations Manager - This is a hands-on team leadership role, but also requiring the capacity to drive improvement and change.

  • To improve service levels (response times, accuracy, efficiency, ease of contact) to the business and improve overall performance going forward.
  • To explore how the team could work in a more structured, and continuous improvement focused approach
  • To ensure that there are sustainable (established, efficient and documented) routines in place for daily/weekly/monthly administrative tasks.
  • To ensure that all members of the team are trained to support these routine tasks, and that they are capable in service and task fulfilment requirements and performing well.
  • To develop a roadmap for the improvement and updating of all Policies and Procedures
  • To work closely with other members of the SLT, and partners in Corporate Services, to develop a plan for the improvement of the existing HRIS.

Skills and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR/People Admin/Services/Ops manager, with exceptional personal organisational skills and both the ability and motivation to drive positive improvement in work practices and systems, and the planning and management of high-volume activities.
