    Job description

    Newcastle College is looking for a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy (Higher Education) to join our team of dedicated and qualified professionals. As a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing high quality learning programmes in beauty therapy, across a range of levels, including IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments. You will also contribute to the development and review of the curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of the industry and the learners.To be successful in this role, you will need:- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in beauty therapy or a related subject- A teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one- Experience of working in the beauty industry, preferably with IPL- Knowledge of current trends and developments in beauty therapy- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills- A commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvementIf you are passionate about beauty therapy and education, and want to work in a supportive and innovative environment, then we would love to hear from you.
