Job Vacancy: Foundation Learning Tutor in Math and English
Newcastle College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Foundation Learning Tutor to join our team on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Math and English to contribute to the educational journey of our students.
Position Details:
* Subject Areas: Math and English
* Employment Type: Temporary (until the end of the academic year)
* Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday to Friday
* Location: Newcastle College
* Compensation: £20 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Math and English to foundation level students.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and learning resources.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mathematics, English, or a related field.
* Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
* Experience in teaching Math and English at various levels.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
