Residential Childcare Assessor
Greater Manchester
UP TO £34,900
Morgan Hunt are currently looking to recruit a Residential childcare assessor ideally on a full time permanent basis, this will include teaching and assessing out in the work place looking after a cohort of learners on a one to one basis and teaching in the classroom.
Responsibilities of a Childcare Assessor:
- Working in the childcare Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the College's standards of work
- Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
- Delivery of childcare and assessing in an FE College and out in the work place
- 30 Case load of learners- level 3 learners on diploma and residential childcare- adult learners
- Apprentices on level 4 and 5 standards
- Children and young people and families manager
Requirements of a Childcare Assessor:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PTLLS or equivalent is desirable
- Experience of delivering the subject.
- A current DBS or willing to apply for one
- A UK recognised assessing qualification, such as a TAQA, A1, D32/ D33, CAVA or equivalent is essential
- Must have experience of working with child residential services (children's home)
