Employability Lecturing Role

£25.00 - £28.00 per hour Negotiable

Job description

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Employability Education role at a College based in Greater Manchester. This is a full time temporary position excpected to run for the full academic year.

Within this role you will be responsible for planning, developing and securing a wide range of work experience, industry placements and work-related activities for your cluster/team, supporting learners, tracking, monitoring and enhancing their employability skills and curriculum. Throughout you will be required to work in partnership with the College's Careers, Employability and Welfare team, the Student Experience team and with all curriculum departments and their Employability tutors to deliver an outstanding professional employability service. These targets will be achieved by offering training and support for learners through 1:1 and group support prior to and during work placements, volunteering opportunities, employer-led projects, skills workshops, applications for work experience, and other work-related activities.

Within this role You will play a key role in supporting curriculum departments to achieve their targets for industry placement and work experience in preparation of the T Level implementation. You will be expected to network and liaise with employers and local organisations. You will broker and sustain new relationships by implementing a quality-driven, key account manager approach to employer engagement. This will include responsibility to perform against individual key performance indicators, which support wider team and organisational targets.

The role supports curriculum departments in efficiently and effectively delivering their employability programmes of study to all learners. You will be required to support, mentor and motivate all learners to improve their employability skills by providing appropriate support and liaising with the learners, employers and College staff as necessary. Effective internal communication to ensure the monitoring of health and safety and safeguarding of individuals in the workplace is essential.
