Job description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Vehicle Maintenance Lecturer to join the team.
The successful candidate will teach practical and theoretical aspects of motor vehicle maintenance up to Level 3. You will be responsible for delivering courses related to the specialist trade area, devising schemes of work, lesson plans, and ensuring compliance with college procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach practical and theory up to Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance.
Provide tutorship to students, encouraging the highest possible standards.
Offer advice and guidance to students regarding progression to employment or other courses.
Contribute to program development and liaise with employers and external agencies.
Arrange student visits and work experience opportunities.
Carry out work-based assessments related to the specialist trade area.
Qualifications and Experience:
A level 4 equivalent qualification appropriate to the work.
A level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Significant, relevant employment within the industry covering a range of building skills.
A Teaching Qualification.
