Senior HR Advisor - Manchester

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior HR Advisor based in Manchester. Salary c£40k, onsite flexible working, BL9. LGPension Scheme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to play crucial role in the success of any organisation, especially in a fast-growing environment. Working closely with other departments, leaders, and team members will be a crucial aspect in growing this organisation where effective communication and teamwork are essential.

Senior Role HR Advisor

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will provide the delivery of a proactive, effective, and efficient day-to-day HR service, undertaking a range of HR activities including case work, compliance, policy guidance, recruitment on-boarding and support the ongoing development of the HR service.

  • Support and manage the workflow of HR processes with the HRIS iTrent throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide proactive and on demand support and coaching to line managers ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures. Deliver strategies to manage and reduce absenteeism.
  • Support with TUPE processes and activities
  • Maintain awareness of current employment legislation and developments within the education sector.
  • Provide advice to line managers in effective people management developing their capability and confidence.
  • Support the ongoing development of the HRIS iTrent and act as a Superuser and point of contact.
  • Liaise with and build relationships with Education trade union representatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Ideally hold a professional CIPD qualification at Level 5
  • Ideally have experienced using iTrent or an HRIS system across the employee lifecycle.
  • Be flexible in approach and confident in providing guidance and advice.
  • Experience or good understanding of TUPE transfers
  • An Enhanced DBS will be required for the role.
