Sports Lecturer
Greater Manchester
£28-31 pound per hour
Start Date: 15/04/2024
Morgan Hunt are currently looking to recruit a Sports Lecturer on a part time basis, working with a football club in the Greater Manchester area, teaching apprenticeship students who are enrolled on their sports academy, delivering level 1 and 2
Basic Job Description
- Teaching Sports BTEC level 1 and 2 and NCFE level 2
- Teaching Monday and Thursday - Paid for 8 hours each day (only 5.5 hours teaching required each day, rest paid in Prep time)
- This is to start 15/04/2024 for the rest of the academic year
- Looking to interview week coming 08/04/2024
- Onsite at non league football club
Responsibilities of a Sports Lecturer:
* Working in the Sport Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the organisations standards of work
* Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
* Delivery of Sport across all levels
Requirements of a Sports Lecturer:
* A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential
* Experience of delivering the subject.
* A Sport related Degree is essential
* A current DBS or willing to apply for one
