Temporary Exams Officer - College | North London | £13 per hour
Are you highly organised with experience in administering exams and assessments? We are working on behalf of a leading college in North London to recruit an Exams Officer to support the examinations team during a busy period.
Location: North London
Contract: Temporary (Full-time, term-time only)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
As the Exams Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all internal and external examinations. You'll be responsible for coordinating exam timetables, managing invigilators, and ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise and manage all aspects of the exams process
Liaise with teaching staff and external exam boards
Prepare and distribute exam timetables and candidate information
Ensure exam rooms are set up in accordance with JCQ guidelines
Manage invigilators and provide training/support as required
Handle exam entries, results, and post-results services
Maintain accurate records and provide reports when needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in an Exams Officer or exams administration role (education sector preferred)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam board procedures
A calm and professional manner, especially under pressure
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
