Are you passionate about inclusive education and collaborative leadership? We're seeking a dedicated professional to co-ordinate practical and theoretical learning activities, working closely with department heads and support teams to deliver an ambitious, personalised curriculum for all learners, including those with SEND and High Needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Communication, Administration & Development: Collaborate effectively within the department, across the college, and with external stakeholders; contribute to curriculum development, course evaluations, and resource planning; maintain accurate student records, timetables, and ensure compliance with awarding bodies and quality assurance processes.
  • Inclusive Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Deliver and assess inclusive teaching aligned with college and awarding body standards; lead the development of accessible Schemes of Work, lesson plans, and learning materials; embed English, maths, safeguarding, and EDI into vocational learning.
  • Student Support & Personalised Programmes: Design and oversee tailored study programmes for High Needs and EHCP students; coordinate learning support interventions, ensure timely and accurate progress tracking on ProMonitor, and implement inclusive teaching and assessment strategies across teams.
  • Inclusion, Transition & Employment Outcomes: Lead high-quality transitions into college for SEND learners; manage inclusion-related matters and provide specialist guidance to staff; champion inclusive work placements and promote employment pathways for students with SEND.



Key Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in SEND and post-16 education, including experience working collaboratively with parents, schools, and local authority services to support inclusive learning.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing large teams, applying HR policies, promoting staff wellbeing, and driving engagement with quality improvement processes.
  • A deep commitment to inclusion, demonstrated through the implementation of reasonable adjustments and innovative teaching strategies that promote curriculum access for all learners.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities, with the capacity to meet a wide range of teaching, learning, and quality assurance deadlines.
