Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths across a range of learner levels.
• Create and adapt teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments that meet curriculum and learner needs.
• Track and support student progress, attendance, and achievement, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Provide effective, constructive feedback to help learners grow in confidence and competence.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement initiatives, and team collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrable experience in teaching Maths, with strong subject knowledge and a learner-focused approach.
• Previous experience in a teaching or lecturing role, ideally within a college or further education setting.
• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and English.
• A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• A current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
