We are working in partnership with a leading FE College in Newcastle upon Tyne, a forward-thinking education provider, to recruit a talented and motivated Maths Lecturer to join their English and Maths department.

In this rewarding role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality teaching across GCSE and Functional Skills Maths; helping students succeed, grow in confidence and unlock their potential.

Key Duties of a Maths Lecturer:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
• Differentiate teaching to assist a wide range of learners, including those with additional needs.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Encourage high levels of student attendance, achievement and retention.

What we're looking for in a Maths Lecturer:

• A degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed., DET).
• Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths in a Further Education and Training setting.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• A dedication to inclusive practice and student-centred learning.
