Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom-based support to students, helping them access the curriculum and fully engage in learning activities.
• Work with individual students or small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Assist in planning and organizing learning materials and classroom activities tailored to student needs.
• Support the cognitive and emotional development of students by removing barriers to learning.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment and encourage student independence.
• Provide personal care and physical support where necessary (e.g. toileting, feeding, mobility assistance), in accordance with agreed care plans.
• Contribute to setting and reviewing individual learning targets and attend meetings as required.
• Monitor student progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in supporting young people with additional learning needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, physical disabilities).
• Background in working in an educational setting or similar environment.
• Willingness to support students with personal care needs (e.g. toileting, feeding, hygiene).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
• Available to interview immediately.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS, dated within the last 3 months or registered on the Update Service.
