Substance Misuse Team Leader - Islington

Our Islington service offers a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our dynamic team, dedicated to helping people with drug and/or alcohol problems who are connected with the criminal justice system.

Our Islington team is made up of a variety of people, including skilled managers, kind nurses, prescribers, enthusiastic recovery workers, and sympathetic peer mentors.

The Team Leader would be required to work 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Integrating all recovery support services from substance misuse programs into a cohesive and successful program that provides service users with motivation and a planned route to recovery.

· Assistance in implementing the peer mentoring approach within the designated geographic regions.

· Visit locations within their geographic boundaries, such as community projects and prisons. Depending on your base, some travel expenses may be provided.


Experience Required:

· A constructive method to problem solving that enables rapid and clear concentration on important topics.

· Good negotiation abilities.

· Prior expertise in creating and executing service enhancements.

· Sensitivity to and knowledge of issues related to equality and diversity.

· Practical familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and databases.

· Dedication to a 12-step treatment plan and strategies.

· Familiarity with database monitoring systems.

· Experience managing the gathering, documenting, and compiling of data-including statistical data-for reporting, research, and auditing needs.
