Substance Misuse Team Manager - HMP Norwich - Prison Vetting Required
A Substance Misuse Team Manager is required to work on an initial 6 month contract for a drug and alcohol service within HMP Norwich.
The Team Manager would be required on site Monday to Friday.
**This role requires the candidate to have current prison vetting, all candidates that do not hold this will unfortunately not be considered**
Responsibilities:
· You will oversee a group of professionals who provide support and interventions for health and wellness to adult drug and alcohol users.
· In addition to supporting low-level mental health needs, the treatment is individualised and incorporates both harm reduction and abstinence-based treatment approaches.
· Assigning caseloads, overseeing a few complicated cases, assisting and training your team, and making sure deadlines and quality standards are fulfilled are all daily tasks.
· You will be in charge of meeting commissioners' and the prime contractor's performance goals.
· As the senior representative on site, you will occasionally be asked to fill in for the service manager to make sure everything runs smoothly.
· Building a strong rapport with your management and fostering cooperative working connections with partner agencies will be priorities, and you will be in a position of trust.
Experience Required:
· Proven expertise in team management, performance, and development
· Sincere desire to inspire and nurture others
· Knowledge of managing important relationships both within and externally
· Understanding and expertise in putting formal procedures and regulations into practice
· Outstanding ability to solve problems and negotiate
· Time and project management abilities
