Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week, all year round)
Salary: £26,081 - £31,178 per annum
Morgan Hunt is working with a college in the Yeovil area to recruit a Foundation Learning Lecturer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and experienced Foundation Learning team, supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a further education setting. The College is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to learners' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed teaching and learning in line with learner needs
- Plan and adapt lessons to support individual EHCP outcomes
- Collaborate with internal and external professionals to ensure appropriate learner support
- Contribute to the development of learning resources and curriculum planning
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and internal quality assurance requirements
- Support learner enrichment, wellbeing, and personal development
Person Specification:
- Experience teaching students with SEND in a school, college, or specialist provision
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Proven ability to support young people in developing new skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Empathic and confident approach to managing challenging situations
