The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to Join a leading Further Education College in the West Midlands as a Learning Support Assistant. In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
You'll support students in a variety of sessions such as Life Skills programmes, GCSEs, and A-levels, with a focus on inclusion, empowerment, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide in-class support tailored to individual student needs
· Encourage independent learning and active participation
· Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
· Communicate effectively with tutors and support staff to ensure high-quality provision
· Help students develop confidence, resilience, and personal responsibility
Education, Skills and Requirements:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
· A collaborative mindset and team approach
· Team-oriented mindset with commitment to safeguarding student welfare.
