📍 Hybrid - any office base across Scotland: Edinburgh (Head Office), Glasgow, Irvine, Inverness, or Thurso

💰 £45,000 - £48,000 + excellent benefits

A respected employer in the public sector housing industry is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner within their Finance & IT team. This role will support key financial processes, ensure accuracy of reporting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Role Overview

As Finance Business Partner, you will:

• Line manage Finance Assistant(s)
• Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset register
• Support monthly management accounts preparation and reconciliations
• Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing processes
• Monitor bank accounts, cashflow, and reconciliations
• Assist with budget monitoring and statutory accounts preparation
• Suggest and implement process improvements within the finance team

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• AAT qualified, equivalent professional qualification, or 5 years relevant experience
• Experience working in a finance team, meeting deadlines, and using financial systems
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Line management experience

Desirable:

• Experience supporting statutory year-end accounts
• Budget monitoring experience
• Housing association knowledge or sector experience
