Pay Rate: £34.12ph PAYE WTR = Total £38.23ph PAYE
Hours 37.5 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri

Main duties, responsibilities and results areas
This role will lead and manage a large and complex programme of work to deliver the electronic health care record systems across the Trust. This role acts as the overall Programme Manager and leads the Millennium programme team and has responsibility for delivering the programme scope and benefits of the solutions.
The candidate will provide expert advice, strong leadership and clear direction to the organisation and team(s) they manage. The candidate will provide day-to-day management of the team(s) within the programme.
The candidate will provide guidance and structure utilising industry recognised methods such as PRINCE2 and MSP for delivering the programme. A major aspect of this role is leadership and end-to-end management of the delivery of solutions to deliver streamlined and synchronised electronic workflow processes across the organisation.
Additionally this role is responsible for ensuring a smooth migration and transition of (one of) the core electronic patient record databases across data centres. The effective engagement with the Trust\'s operational managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, and supplier representatives will be a vital element of the job.
The Millennium programme will be delivered in consistent phases over future years as we move towards paperless working. Each phase will bring additional functionality in various clinical and operation areas. Much of programme will involve changes to operational processes. The contents of each phase will be organised and delivered by individual projects and major work packages.
The candidate prime responsibility is to ensure that the outcomes of the Trust\'s Millennium Programme are delivered on time, within local budgets and to the agreed quality standards. Candidate is also responsible for producing results that are capable of achieving the benefits defined in the programme Business Case, many times this will include weekly/monthly national reporting requirements of status updates into NHSE/NSD.
