Summary

Our client is a leading Housing Association operating throughout London, currently looking for an experienced Property Surveyor on full time permanent basis, managing a patch of properties circa. 5,000 homes throughout South London.

You will deal with day to day issues that arise regarding responsive repairs, voids, diagnosing defects and provide an excellent service to the group's customers and tenants. You will be managing a busy and challenging patch, interacting with various internal teams, and playing an integral part to the overall repairs service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own workload to diagnose and manage property defects, disrepair and complex cases.
• Carry out post inspections and manage follow on work.
• Review Home Improvement requests.
• Provide technical support to customers and staff members within the business.
• Assist with Party Wall matters or work requests from leaseholders.

About you

• Social Housing experience is highly desirable, ideally having previously worked for a Housing Association, Local Authority or a similar Housing organisation.
• Extensive Surveying experience on residential properties.
• Strong Health & Safety understanding, including knowledge of property related regulations and laws.
• Ability to prioritise work well, managing own diary and providing high levels of customer service.
• Full UK drivers license with access to own vehicle.
