Are you interested in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching Assistant roles in the Waltham Forest ? Morgan Hunt are pleased to announce that we are working with several Colleges and Sixth forms across the county on a preferred supplier basis. Together we are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching Assistant- apply today!
As part of the role, you will:
Support students with a range of learning difficulties and other disabilities.
Enable reasonable adjustments to help students to engage.
Mentor students and encourage them to remain on task.
Model skills so that the student can understand the tasks.
Assist with Personal Care and health needs.
Promote our college values.
Skills and requirements:
- Have recent and demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
- GCSE English grade C / 4 or equivalent - or willing to work towards gaining this qualification
- Happy to undergo relevant training
- Enjoy working across college faculties i.e. supporting students on a variety of courses
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
