Are you a Leasehold Services Officer looking for work in East London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in East London is looking to recruit a Leasehold Services Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Leasehold Services Officer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive leasehold management services, supporting leaseholders, and ensuring compliance with leasehold legislation and regulations.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Manage a portfolio of leasehold properties, ensuring compliance with lease terms, covenants, and regulations.
• Provide advice, guidance, and support to leaseholders on lease interpretation, rights, and responsibilities.
• Administer service charges, ground rent, and other leasehold payments accurately and efficiently. Prepare service charge budgets, statements, and invoices in accordance with lease agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to leasehold enquiries and requests from leaseholders, managing correspondence, queries, and complaints effectively. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and provide solutions to leaseholders' concerns.
• Assist leaseholders with lease extension applications, lease variations, and other leasehold transactions. Provide guidance on the process, requirements, and implications of lease extensions and variations.
• Ensure compliance with leasehold legislation, regulations, and best practices. Keep abreast of changes in leasehold law and regulatory requirements, updating policies, procedures, and practices accordingly.
• Facilitate leaseholder consultation processes on major works, service charge budgets, and other significant leasehold matters. Engage with leaseholders, resident associations, and stakeholders to gather feedback and input on leasehold issues.
• Maintain accurate records of leasehold properties, service charges, correspondence, and leasehold transactions. Prepare reports and analysis on leasehold performance, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.
