
Electrical Assessor - Renewables
About Us:
Morgan Hunt are recruiting for a leading training centre specialising in delivering high-quality courses in gas, electrics, and renewable energy. We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Renewable Assessor to join our growing team and support the delivery of industry-recognised training courses in Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Charging stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess learners undertaking qualifications in Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Chargers.
- Support delivery and assessment of course materials in line with awarding body standards.
- Carry out initial assessments, progress tracking, and learner feedback.
- Complete assessment documentation and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the internal quality assurance (IQA) team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to learners, ensuring a positive learning experience.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum Level 4 Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA or equivalent).
- Proven occupational experience in the electrical and renewable energy sector.
- Qualified and competent in Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Charger installation.
- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Strong understanding of current industry standards and health & safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and learner success.
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 AET or higher).
- Experience working in a training or educational setting.
